Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the investor with a one-stop shop for all services he or she may require in the combined fields of investment, accounting, taxation, business investigation, business advice, and corporate or personal insurance.

Company Profile

OakFern Investments CC is a close corporation acting in association with a number of specialists in the legal, accounting and investment fields that grew out of the needs of the existing client base of Oakfern Corporate Solutions CC, for whom we provide accounting, business advisory and taxation services to a select group of clients located in greater Johannesburg, South-Africa.

Without attempting to be all things to all people, we soon realised that our clients have a need for more services than pure accounting, but have come to rely on the professional assistance rendered over time, as culminated in a relationship based on mutual trust and respect.

In this regard clients often require related services to be based on informed decisions, e.g. legal, insurance or investment requirements, while at all times taking cognisance of tax implications of decisions made, as well as the interplay between all those decisions and the available cashflow that has to fund all the intended activities..

In addition the need for the utilisation of Trusts to reduce Estate Duty and Taxation are receiving more and more attention, both in the media and in the priorities of business people.

In order to provide these services the members of OakFern Investments CC are formally qualified in a number of fields, and belong to a number of institutes. The members are university graduates, and have the qualifications of B.Com, Hons B.Compt, Hons. B.Com (Investment Analysis), A.C.I.S, and B.A. in addition to being qualified Estate and Property Agents.

At the OakFern group ongoing qualification and active involvement in the professional environment are priorities, and to this extent the group is a duly elected member of the Randburg Chamber of commerce, while members of the group from time to time serve on the Professional Practice Group Committee of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, on the Accounting, Taxation and Practising Committee of the Institute, on the Legislation and Practice Panel of the Institute, and have been alternate representative to the Accounting Practice Board of South Africa.
